Important Message:

The health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities we serve are of utmost importance to us. We are utilizing the guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), federal, state and local agencies to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

At this time, we do not anticipate having to change our normal operations. We are monitoring the situation closely and if the need arises, we will adapt our operations. We will update you immediately if we believe any significant changes are required.

We appreciate your understanding at this unique and challenging time. We will continue to provide the essential solid waste and recycle services we have committed to perform. Please contact our office if you have any questions. As always, we will operate under our company motto that Service is Everything.

Who We Are:

Harrison Industries was established in 1932 and is one of the oldest and largest privately owned trash collection businesses in the United States. We provide service to over 90,000 customers with residential, commercial and industrial service. Our company motto is “Service is Everything.”

We are committed to helping the communities we serve reach the strict mandates of California AB 341 that requires cities and counties in the state to divert 75 percent of waste from landfills by 2020.

Our recycling partners include Gold Coast Recycling and Transfer Station, where recyclables are sorted, baled and marketed for reuse, and Agromin, where green waste is processed and sold for reuse in agricultural products, fuel and landscape materials.

Harrison Industries serves the cities and surrounding unincorporated areas of Ventura, Ojai, Camarillo and Carpinteria as well as the unincorporated areas of El Rio, Somis, Ojai Valley and Channel Islands beach communities as E.J. Harrison and Sons; Fillmore and surrounding unincorporated areas as Santa Clara Valley Disposal; and Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and surrounding unincorporated areas as Newbury Disposal.
